Las Vegas McCarran Airport Adds Three Nursing Pods For Moms
Traveling with infants is tough. Nursing moms know it's easier to feed a baby in private. Where do you do that in a busy airport, especially one you don't know?
Las Vegas McCarran International Airport just opened three nursing pods in the airport, which is the eighth busiest in America. The pods are 4x8 feet. That's pretty cozy, but big enough for Mom, baby and any other children with her. The pod has benches, a fold-down table and an electrical outlet in case Mom needs to plug in a breast pump. And yes, the doors to the pod lock!
The pods are located at:
The skybridge connecting Concourse C with the A and B gates
Near the children's play area in the D Concourse (yes, the Las Vegas airport has a children's play area!)
Terminal 3 near gate E-9. Terminal 3 is the international terminal
Las Vegas may be Sin City, but we really do love families. Really.
